We encourage your involvement and invite you to learn more about how you can support student learning at Northern Heights!

• Ask your child to tell you about the Learner Profile Attitudes or the units of inquiry they are studying.
• Volunteer at school by tutoring, helping in the classroom, sharing an experience or special skills you might have.
• Visit your child’s classroom, read class newsletters and talk with your child about their learning.
• Find ways to connect learning with experiences in the community.
• Give your child lots of opportunities to explore and ask questions, then encourage finding answers either independently or  together.
• Attend monthly PTA meetings.
• Read IB brochures and other materials available for check-out.
• Have a conversation with Michelle Hornof,  IB Coordinator.
